Keystone Project Advisory has had a long term relationship with Incitec Pivot Limited, providing Project Controls Services for their Australian Turnaround Group. The 2014 Mount Isa Sulphuric Acid Plant Major Turnaround was successfully planned and executed safely, on time and on budget. Often plagued with cost and schedule overruns, fixed plant outages are complicated and dynamic projects. The project was necessary to perform major maintenance both technical and statutory to ensure continued safe plant operation. Large volumes of contractors operated in a confined and highly hazardous environment in shifts operating 24 hours a day. Coupled with high daily expenditure and a budget constraints, best practice project controls systems have been developed for Incitec Pivot Limited by our team and were pivotal to the project’s success.

This project was awarded the 2015 Queensland Regional and 2015 National award for Best Regional Project by the Australian Institute of Project Management.
